The Trick To A Good Night's Sleep

Isn't he cute! Every night Phoenix's Kitty sister, Pearl, watches over him while sleeping on the glider. Phoenix is usually a really good sleeper. However, lately he has wanted to get up more during the night. Now, however, I found a trick to help him sleep. The trick...turn on his seahorse friend, cover him up, and wait for him to fall a sleep. The seahorse's belly lights up and it plays soft music with water sounds (his favorite) bubbling in the background. It has been a lifesaver! He atually rolls over and puts his arm over the seahorse. We thank "Gamma" Chris for getting it for Phoenix at his blessing.

We went swimming for the second time with Phoenix today. (The first time we went swimming, we forgot to put our memory card in our camera.) What a blast Phoenix, Dad, and I had. We have a local swimming "hole" here in Slinger that we enjoy. They don't really allow floaties in the pool, but we asked them a day previous if we could bring it. Phoenix is such a little fish! He was kicking and laughing the whole time. I love all these new experiences!

Swimming with Gammy and Gampy

This Saturday, Aug 2nd, Phoenix was able to stay with Gammy and Gampy while Mike and I went to go see a movie. While he was there, he was able to use his baby pool for the first time, yay!!!! Gampy said "I think I got more wet than Phoenix did." Phoenix LOVES water, whether it is baths, lakes, or pools, and as you can see, this day was no different.
