Thanks to my friend, Edie, at work, we now have a new pool! Phoenix loves it! Phoenix is a little fish. He loves his pool and gets in and out to walk thru the sprinkler. To keep the water mildly warm, we hook up our hose to the basement sink so that the water is not chilly. Summer is going to be great with this pool, sandbox, and slide.
Today was the Hartford City Wide Rummage. Phoenix and I got up early this morning, ate breakfast, and were off to venture through the Hartford neighborhoods searching for a Little Tikes slide. To my surprise, we found one in the second subdivision we drove thru. In addition to the slide we found a froggie sandbox for my little guy! Now it is off to Walmart to buy some sand. Love Rummaging!
Since we moved into our new apartment we have wanted to build a piece in the kitchen that would act as a desk and a display piece. These 2x4 builds have been in every one of our homes in various shapes and sizes since I was a little girl. It all started when my Uncle Jay and Aunt Bonnie built 2x4 shelving in their home in the 1980's. We build them and then leave them for the next person, since they are heavy and hard to move out.
So, here is the final amazing Memorial Day kitchen build in our new home. We love it and thought we would share this masterpiece with family and friends.
