Wisconsin Dells

Grand Grammy and Grampy were able to come to Wisconsin for a visit from Ohio. They have been here for about a week and were able to visit my brother Brad and his family last weekend. This weekend, my mother and father went to Wisconsin Dells where we were able to go visit them for a day. We had a blast! We were able to enjoy the scenery, the weather, the Original Wisconsin Ducks, and some swimming. We look forward to many more summer outings with family this year and love making new unforgettable memories.

New Shoes!

Phoenix got new walking shoes! Phoenix has been walking along walls and walking holding hands for about a month now. Then just last week, Phoenix began to walk a few steps, a few more steps, and then about a room's length along with getting up to stand from the ground. So, this weekend we went and got new shoes from Stride Rite. Phoenix is doing so well walking with them.

Mike's Graduation!

On Saturday, May 16th, Mike graduated from college. He graduated with an Automotive Technician technical diploma. It has been a productive 2 years that has paid off. Mike graduated at the top of his automotive class and is employed by his instructor, Frank, at his shop in Fond du Lac. Mike has really come to like working on transmissions but we look forward to Mike working full time and being busy with all different jobs. In a couple months Mike plans to take his Automotive Service Excellence test, which will give him certification on different automotive systems (brakes, transmissions, etc.).

Mother's Day

My men were so good to me this Mother's Day. We had a wonderful Sunday at church where I spoke about mothers and my father gave me a nice peach corsage. After church we came home and took a nap after lunch. After awaking, Mike grilled burgers and hotdogs. In the evening we watched Fireproof and then just relaxed. For my gifts this year I received a Webkinz kangaroo, cards, and a key chain that holds charms ("K," wedding ring, baby boy with November birthstone, nurse hat, and a heart with "MOM" inside). Thank you to my men for their love and thank you to my mom for all that she does for me!
